dmi
Key words:
1,3-Dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone (DMI)
DMI is low in toxicity and has strong solubility, which can promote the dissolution of reactants, accelerate reaction speed, and improve reaction yield. It is widely used as a solvent in pharmaceutical intermediates and organic intermediate reactions. Its high boiling point and thermal stability make it commonly used as an extractant in petrochemicals. Due to DMI's low viscosity and high dielectric constant, it can also be used as an electrolyte solvent for high-performance lithium batteries. Additionally, its strong permeability, high boiling point, and high-temperature resistance allow it to serve as a stripping agent for silicon chip photoresists. DMI easily dissolves dirt and can be used to formulate an efficient cleaning solution for cleaning glass and metal. In dyes and pigments, inks made by mixing DMI as a solvent component with dyes and pigments can produce vivid contrasts and clear images.
